Description:

Our client, a leader in the hospitality industry, is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee the day to day operations and networks for all properties and departments. This includes providing support and troubleshooting in a timely and professional manner, as well as developing recovery plans and manageing various projects. This individual will be reporting to the Director of IT.

 

Education/
Experience:
  • Post Secondary certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Technology or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
  • Hospitality IT knowledge required
Responsibilities/
Requirements:
  • Maintain day to day operations and networks
  • Handle a wide range of LAN/WAN technology
  • Server and Workstation support/maintenance, as required Anti-Virus updates, Windows updates, and server backups
  • Troubleshoot and repair on-site and remote desktop, network, and server issues
  • Develop, manage, and test backup/disaster recovery plans for servers
  • Install LAN hardware and software, including but not limited to, desktops/laptops, servers, databases, routers
  • Perform administration tasks on database servers to assess performance
  • Maintain user accounts, data permissions, and applications based on departmental and individual requirements
  • Manage projects within a dynamic, fast paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Assist guests with wireless and/or internet related issues
