Description:

Responsible for payroll activities and supervision of all payrolls, managing payroll taxes and deductions, system reviews, process upgrades and reviewing payroll-related policies & procedures.

Education/
Experience:

To be successful in this role you will combine a post secondary education in Accounting or a related field with a professional designation (i.e. CPA or CPM) and a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Additional experience with ADP payroll systems and Federal and Provincial payroll legislation is required.

Responsibilities/ Requirements:

  • Manage the completion of bi-weekly payrolls (union and non-union);
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws and regulations;
  • Develop and maintain annual budgets and cash flow projections and provide analysis of variances on a monthly basis;
  • Manage payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy;
  • Manage year-end reporting requirements including WSIB reconciliation; Employee Health Tax reconciliation, T4 processing & reconciliation;
  • Work closely with ADP to ensure that system upgrades are implemented;
  • Prepare reports as required.
Salary:
$50,000 to $60,000 annually
