Description:

Reporting to the Manager, Design Engineering, the primary function is to provide high quality service to the Product Office, Manufacturing, Sales and After Sales Departments, Quality Control, Purchasing and the Media Division.

The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical abilities and be highly-motivated.		 
Experience:

Minimum one year experience in a related environment.
Education:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Requirements:
    • Design engineering of machines
    • Shop floor testing of assembled machines
    • Revising of existing designs to new engineering standards
    • Drafting of mechanical components
    • Checking and quality control of drawings
    • Classification and documentation of parts and assemblies
    • Development of Bills of Materials and Cutting Lists
    • Entering, maintaining and searching data in the SAP software system
    • Experience with both 2D CAD and 3D CAD drafting and modeling
    • Innovative thinking and design engineering skills
    • Familiarity with engineering work flow procedures and metal cutting, forming and welding procedures
    • Ability to work in a shop environment
