Description:

Our client is currently seeking a qualified and self-motivated individual for the position of Manager, Freight Payables.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Shared Finance Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Freight Payables department. 
Experience:

A University degree, or a combination of 3 years experience in an accounting role and a recognized accounting designation.

Education:

 

Requirements:
  • Plan, direct and manage the department in conjunction with company policies and corporate guidelines
  • Monitor the freight payable process to ensure guidelines for payment are properly adhered to, invoices are paid within the vendor’s terms and controls are in place
  • Prepare and analyze various financial reports in accordance with internal and external requirements
  • Responsible for all budget and financial matters with respect to the Freight Payables department.
  • Strong analytical, problems solving, time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability in a managerial position is a definite asset.
Salary:
 $58,000 to $62,000 annually
