QUESTION:

I am looking for a change in HR as I've completed my MBA in HR. The most common question asked to me is "Why do I want to move to HR", or "What intersts you the most in HR that you have chosen this as a career?" I really do not know how to answer this question - if you could help me with this?

ANSWER:

Many people move to HR because:

• They like working with people at all levels
• Find it rewarding to help resolve issues/problems for others
• They enjoy the challenge of keeping up with new legislation
• See an opportunity to be a generalist or to specialize in a particular area such as labour relations, health & safety etc.
