QUESTION:

I was laid off last week and still have not received my last check. Shouldn't I have received my last check within 72 hours?


ANSWER:

When laid off, your Employer does not have to provide you with your final cheque within 72 hours. It is normally provided with a 7 to 10 day timeframe, along with your ROE, etc
