Once again this year, on behalf of our clients and staff, The Burke Group will be sharing the joy of Christmas with a needy family through Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold's Adopt-a-Family program. Our contributions this year will assist our "adopted" family, comprising Mom and 2 kids, to have a more enjoyable Christmas.
Thanks to all of our clients for providing us with the opportunity to pass on this goodwill during the Christmas season.

The Burke Group is participating in Cheerios Heart & Stroke Walk for Heart on Sunday, September 24th at Queenston Heights Park. The Walk for Heart is the fun-filled fundraising event formerly known as the Mother Daughter Walk. This is one special day the country comes together for heart health.

Group is pleased to announce the launch of our newest division specializing
in the design and delivery of workplace health and safety programs.
The newest members of this division include:
Monique
Charette, Director, Health & Safety
As the lead on this team, Monique has joined The Burke Group to manage
Ontario Safety Partners as well as a full range of health and safety
services, including search, training and consulting.
Jacqueline Duffy, Health & Safety Coordinator/Safety Groups Administrator, she has the proven ability to service clients, consultants and employees in various aspects of human resources and health and safety. She assumes an integral role in coordinating human resources projects and health and safety initiatives. Her educational background, work experience, and certification as a Health and Safety Representative provide her with a progressive outlook in the areas of business management, health and safety and human resources management.

Division
to the Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville area. Due to overwhelming customer
demand, The Burke Groups Burlington location will now offer a
full range of professional recruitment services including temporary

The Burke
Group was pleased to sponsor the 2nd Annual St. Catharines Chamber
of Commerce Business Achievement Awards presented October 27, 2005
at the Quality Hotel Parkway Convention Centre. Award designations
included Outstanding Business Achievement Awards, Community Partnership
Awards, New Business Award, Young Entrepreneur Award and Business
Leader of the Years Award.

The Burke
Group co-sponsored and participated in Career Expo 2005 at Brock University
on October 17, 2005. The venue encompassed four areas of opportunity
for Brock students and alumni including full and part-time job opportunities,
post-graduate opportunities, professional development and volunteers.
- Jennifer
Brisson, Linda Brochu, and Leah Brown of The Burke Group participated
in the Canadian Cancer Society Taking Steps Against Breast Cancer 5km
walk on October 1, 2005 at Kings Bridge Park in Chippawa, Ontario. This
event raises money to fund breast cancer research and is also a way
to celebrate survivors in our community and remember those who have
lost their lives to the disease. Join us in the fight against breast

Team Happenings

Diane Chivers,
Director of Staffing Services achieved a professional designation
with the Canadian Council of Human Resources Professionals (CHRP)
in July. In working toward her personal goal of professional accreditation
with the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO),
Diane attended and successfully completed an intensive Advanced Program
in Human Resources Management, offered by the University of Toronto's
Rotman School of Management. Congratulations Diane!

Lynn Thomas,
Director of Marketing and Sales successfully completed the Sales Management
Program at Queen's School of Business this past April. The program
is an intensive five-day immersion in cutting-edge sales management
concepts, tools and methods designed to create value for our customers
and build a powerful and more profitable organization. Great job Lynn!

The Burke
Group is pleased to announce the following additions to our team:
- Monique Charette, Director, Health & Safety
As the lead on this team, Monique has joined The Burke Group to manage Ontario Safety Partners, The Burke Group's WSIB safety groups program, as well as a full range of health and safety programs. As a Human Resources Professional with a Diploma in HR Management from Niagara College and a background in Human Resources Management for the service sector, Monique's experience was heavily concentrated in the areas of health and safety.

Group was proud to be a sponsor for the 1st Annual Community Leaders
Ladies Invitational golf tournament held at the beautiful Peninsula
Lakes Golf Course on June 5th, 2006. This premiere event, in support of the
Niagara Regional Cancer Centre, was very well planned, very well attended,
and proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The Burke
Group was proud to sponsor a Business Leaders Breakfast part of the
"Discover the Power of One Tour" in May 2005 featuring motivational
speaker Ian Hill who inspires people to "change personally, professionally
and in our communities". The tour was met with great success; proceeds
of the event benefited the Niagara Community Foundation.

During the
2005 HRPAO Annual Conference, Anne Charette, CHRP was awarded the prestigious
Honourary Life Award. Diane Chivers is shown receiving the
Award, on behalf of Anne, from Andre Latour, Past-President, HRPAO.

The
Burke Group had a supplement in the St. Catharines Standard on Saturday
June 25, 2004. Profiling their 25 years in business!
