Position Description
  A great opportunity to join a team committed to preserving natural resources through the environmentally sound collection and recycling of batteries. An international leader in the field of waste and resource recycling the Corporate focus has always been to find recycling solutions that are not only economical, but also solutions that are considered socially and environmentally sustainable.Reporting directly to the President the successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing accounts, developing new business growth strategies and leading a sales team. Manages all aspects of a sales department inclusive of leading management, account management, business analytics, and channel development.  

Education
 
  • Post-secondary education preferably in Marketing, Sales
  • Experience working with waste/recycling a definite asset
  • Five to ten years proven track record in sales
  • Experience working in a ISO 14001 environment with a strong commitment to H&S
  • Established network with major accounts, municipalities, government, retail

Requirements
 
  • Determining sales strategies , set goals create and implement action plans, push projects and initiatives, make clear decisions and evaluate progress
  • Set priorities, work independently, track details/data/activities to achieve revenue goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to lead, motivate and support a sales team
  • Self-starter
  • Strong computer skills
