Part-Time Bookkeeper

Position Description
Our client, requires an experienced Bookkeeper to provide accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll submissions and tax remittances.   The ideal candidate will have a drive to learn, the ability to manage competing priorities, a personable attitude, and will be self-motivated.

  • 5+ years of experience in Bookkeeping is required
  • Post-Secondary education in Bookkeeping or Business Administration is an asset
  • Preference will be given to those with strong Quick Books skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft office
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to remain focused on assigned tasks

  • A/R and A/P full cycle management
  • Preparing Invoices and processing payments
  • Month-end, Quarter-end, Year-end duties
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Payroll preparation and benefits reconciliation
  • Government reporting and HST, WSIB remittances
  • Preparing financial reports, audit preparation
  • Other duties as required
