Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization in the Niagara Region, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in being a trusted support within a collaborative business environment. Reporting directly to the Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the organization's day-to-day accounting and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Administration
- Process customer invoicing accurately and efficiently
- Manage accounts receivable follow-up and cash applications
- Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, approvals, vendor maintenance, payment scheduling, and electronic bank uploads
- Process customer credit card payments
- Maintain customer deposit logs and supporting documentation
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly costing processes
- Support month-end close activities and year-end audit preparation
- Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation activities as required
- Prepare and coordinate bank deposits
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized and accurate financial and administrative records
- Support daily office administration and filing
- Provide backup assistance for incoming telephone calls
- Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives as required
- Support a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting and administrative experience
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and costing
- Manufacturing industry experience is considered a strong asset
- Proficiency with Sage 50 required
- Experience with Priority ERP or similar manufacturing ERP software is considered an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
