We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to update and maintain high technical information and procedures in our client’s databases and computer systems for approximately a one-year contract.

Responsibilities include collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills and has a high attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or a similar position will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate 200+ operating procedures from various depts/programs/formats into a common MS Word template for consistency.
  • Update the Tables of Contents to reflect the revised procedures on the company intranet using Sharepoint (training will be offered if needed)
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions

Requirements and skills

  • 2-3+ years of administrative or data entry work experience
  • Post secondary education preferably office administrative program
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Excellent knowledge of written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
