We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and dynamic HR leader with at least 6 years of progressive senior-level management experience, preferably within a multi-union environment. The incumbent is responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective management of all aspects of Human Resources and Administration in alignment with the not-for-profit’s vision and mission to create a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

  • The incumbent is responsible for leading and administering the Human Resources Department, providing overall direction and coordination for all human resources functions including employee and labour relations, recruitment, rewards and recognition, organizational development, performance management, training, disability management and health, safety and wellness. 
  • The role is also responsible for developing and recommending strategic plans, policies and strategies to address both short, and long-term human resources and organizational objectives; for strategy formulation and negotiating collective agreements; for providing advice to management regarding Human Resources polices, programs and procedures to improve team effectiveness and organizational culture.
