Job Description:

As a Millwright, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for maintaining and servicing various mechanical equipment and machinery. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to install, maintain, and repair machinery.
  • Perform alignment, assembly, dismantling, and reassembly of various equipment and machinery.
  • Operate hoists, jacks, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as required.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Repair and maintain conveyor systems, including fabrication of components.
  • Safely operate and maintain cranes, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and chain hoists.
  • Handle electric motors, pumps, and other mechanical components, following blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Fabricate and install platforms, ladders, handrails, and other structural components.
  • Perform welding tasks, including MIG and ARC welding, as needed.
  • Work with hydraulic systems, air compressors, and various industrial maintenance equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques, including MIG and ARC welding.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and air compressors.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Safety-conscious with knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
