Our client seeks a highly motivated Sales Manager Travel Trade and Social Market professional. The successful candidate will manage corporate retreats, marriage retreats, special events, domestic coach tours, FIT markets, and international markets. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in hotel sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel trade partners, event planners, and corporate clients
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of clients and prospects
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients
  • Conduct site inspections and organize familiarization trips for clients
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to ensure profitability for the company
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and generate leads
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
  • Manage the sales team and provide leadership, guidance, and support
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in hotel sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing revenue
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
