Sublimation Manager

As the Sublimation Floor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will oversee the Sublimation department, ensuring that all sublimation jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Safety will be your priority as you monitor and maintain equipment to minimize breakdowns and create a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

Safety: Prioritize and monitor the safety of all equipment, ensuring minimal breakdowns and a secure work environment.

Quality: Ensure all sublimation jobs meet or exceed quality standards and are completed within the specified time frame.

On-Time Delivery: Supervise and coordinate sublimation workers to meet and exceed production targets.

Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to ISO9001:2015 Quality System policies and procedures while promoting continuous improvement within the team.

Discipline: Foster a culture that emphasizes adherence to process and procedure, ensuring all team members are accountable for maintaining the highest standards.

Film Selection: Monitor film selection procedures and ensure compliance.

Operations: Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor daily and weekly operations.

Job Scheduling: Collaborate with the Plant Manager to schedule jobs based on customer priorities.

Efficiency Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to reduce downtime and improve sublimation efficiency.

Production Problem Resolution: Assist Production and Engineering in resolving production issues and implementing corrective actions.

Maintenance: Organize and perform routine and major maintenance, coordinating with Maintenance/Engineering Services.

Inventory Management: Use the requisition system to order new and replacement parts as needed.

Process Improvement: Make recommendations for improving production procedures.

Reporting: Provide monthly Production and Quality reports to showcase improvements.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a sublimation or production environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 Quality System is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve production issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance and inventory management systems.
